Children
Children must be supervised by a responsible
adult at all times. For your child's safety and as a
courtesy to your fellow laundry patrons -
PLEASE:
- Do not allow your children to run.
- Do not allow your children to play with or
ride in carts
- Do not allow your children on tables or
washing machines.
- DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILDREN INSIDE WASHERS OR
DRYERS!
Unattended Laundry
Please Do Not Leave Your Laundry Unattended:
- Grant Street Laundry is not responsible for
lost or stolen items.
- As a courtesy to other laundry patrons,
please remove your clothes promptly from washers
and dryers.
- When the laundromat is busy and other people
are waiting for an available machine:
- If we are unable to locate you - your
laundry will be removed - either by our
staff or by a waiting customer - under
the direction of our staff.
Proper Use Of Our Machines
- Do not wash or dry oily or greasy clothes or
rags.
- Do not wash or dry rubberized articles such
as rugs with rubber backing.
- Do not add dye to washing machine.
- Empty all pockets before washing.
- Do not overload machines.
Washing Tips
- Inspect the inside of washers and dryers for
articles left behind and for material such as
gum.
- Follow instructions on machines - add the
appropriate amount of detergent.
- Wash and dry - whites with whites; colors
with colors
- Follow the laundering instructions according
to the tags on your clothing and other
articles.
- Overloading machines will result in clothes
not getting as clean or dry as they should.
- Pre-set your washer and dryer settings
according to the needs of your laundry.
- Monitor the progress of dryers. Remove your
clothes promptly from dryers - do not
"over-dry".
- If you need assistance or have questions -
our friendly staff will be glad to assist.
Grant Street Laundry has been serving the
Thornton community for over 12 years.
- We will do our best to meet the needs of
customers and resolve any complaints.
- We reserve the right to refuse service.
